10 Essential Follow Through Questions (post-conference)

So it’s a few days after the conference.  Many times we can walk away with tons of content, but only ounces of intentional action and follow-through to make the ideas and dreams become reality.  The fresh ideas and inspiration that has come from the time away come crashing into the realities of everyday life and leadership.

I put together a great coaching resource that’s a perfect fit for times like these.  Now that that the conference is over, consider these 10 questions to help create a follow through plan with relevant action steps that will need to be developed in order to experience long-term changes.

  1. What is the top take-away from the content of this conference/retreat?

  1. What were some “AHA” moments?

  1. What would you like to try if you knew it wouldn’t fail in this area?

  1. What action points are do-able in the next month? What about in the next 90 days?

  1. What dreams did the content shared awaken within you?

  1. How could you develop and empower a team to make progress in this topic?

  1. Who is a key personal connection that can be leveraged to make progress in this area?

  1. What does progress look like for your church on this topic?

  1. What would need to change in you, or in your leaders, to experience growth in this area?

  1. What about this topic could be simplified in order to make strategic progress?

May creating space to process these questions help develop new possibilities for your leadership.  What are some key conversations that you need to have with those closest to you, your team, or your organization?  Let your days after the conference be even more powerful than the conference itself by linking it to relevant action.   If you’d like to supercharge your follow-through by connecting over a coaching conversation, I’d be happy to share my calendar with you for a free curiosity call.  The best is yet to come!
